Mobile shelving, also known as mobile library shelving, refers to a system where shelves are mounted on fixed and mobile carriages. By rotating a crank handle from the side, these carriages move along floor rails smoothly, allowing for the handling of medium-to-heavy load items conveniently and effortlessly. This system enables access to a specific shelving bay by moving the shelves apart to create an aisle only where needed, significantly increasing storage efficiency compared to static shelving.
